If you were Born in 2020 try to feel this. I am Cree Native American, and Portuguese a half breed. Both sides of my grandparents came here to the USA as you now know it.
On my mothers side I am Cree from Canada, my father side came from the Islands of Portugal. I tell you this so you can understand just how young our Government is.
The death of Cluster 1876 marks the first 100 years of the start of our Government. Horses were the Only mode of transportation.
Alexander Graham Bell uttered nine words, “Mr. Watson, come here. I want to see you,” into the mouthpiece of his newly patented device on March 10, 1876 you know as the First Telephone.
On September 4, 1882, the electrical age began. That day, Thomas Edison’s Edison Illuminating Company flipped the switch on his power station on Pearl Street in lower Manhattan, providing electricity to homes at a price comparable to gas. By the end of the month, they had 59 customers.
Ford Motor Company, which was organized as a corporation in June 1903 and sold its first car. Keep in mind there are No roads, highway and no interstate just wagon trails; subject to rain and snow.
The Wright brothers, Orville (August 19, 1871 – January 30, 1948) and Wilbur (April 16, 1867 – May 30, 1912), were two American brothers, inventors, and aviation pioneers who are credited with inventing and building the world’s first successful airplane and making the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight, on December 17, 1903.
So there is much more that happen that advanced our country just in the 1900’s, but notice that Orville Wright lived to see:
Cluster at Little Big Horn in 1876, the telegraph, telephone, electricity, horses to auto mobiles, train tracks from east to west, tail end of the civil war, first world war, and Pearl Harbor, and the end of World War II, and just so much more. Like the start of Wall Street, the sinking of the Titanic in 1912
My point in this, is you connect with the past. I would never give up the people I learned from that lived in the past. The story of elders is more then any school will teach you. America is young, and no one can tell you your not worth your salt. You as an American should be proud of our past, and look at all that surrounds you.
Things like Air Conditioning, air flight, water toys, and so much more. Find your dream and create something that will amaze the crowds, teach others, find your gifts given to you, and never give up. I would go on, but it’s your turn get out there and do it! Good Luck!
